Our unique blend of beeswax, grapeseed oil, and sunflower oil is crafted specifically to create an exceptional seasoning for your cast iron. The oils we’ve chosen are rich in polyunsaturated fats, which contain multiple double bonds. These bonds are essential for polymerization, forming a stronger, more durable seasoning that enhances your cookware’s performance over time.

Our beeswax serves three key purposes in our formula:

1. It ensures an even blend of the oils.
2. It solidifies the mixture, limiting its exposure to oxygen compared to traditional liquid oils, which helps extend the Compound's shelf life.
3. As a hydrophobic agent (repels water), beeswax helps protect your cast iron from moisture and rust, preserving its longevity.

Use after each cleaning to maintain and enhance your cast iron's natural seasoning.

How to use on cookware:

Maintenance: After cleaning and drying, apply a thin layer to the cooking surface with a paper towel or rag. Wipe off excess oil.

Seasoning: Apply a thin layer to all surfaces. Wipe off excess oil (this is important). Place in 450° oven for one hour. Repeat if needed.
