#8 Griswold "Small Block Logo" (SBL) chicken fryer, circa 1940s/1950s.
Let's address the elephant in the room- the bottom of the fryer has significant pitting caused by rust from previous neglect. Good news is the lid is gorgeous and the cooking surface of the fryer is in great shape with beautiful factory swirls. Sits flat so it's suitable for a glass or gas stovetop. Measures approximately 11 1/4" from pour spout to pour spout.
