*Presses are still being manufactured, sorry for the delay!*

Not only great for smash burgers but, at 4 lbs., the Cast Iron Chris Press is fantastic to use for bacon, steaks, spatchcock chickens, paninis, and more!

The CiC Press is made from carbon steel with a stainless steel spring handle, which allows the handle to stay cooler significantly longer than standard grill presses.

Lasered CiC logo. 6” diameter.

Made in Texas to last a lifetime.

When receiving your CiC Press it will be silver in color (which is natural for carbon steel). The patina will change color and darken after seasoning and with use.

How to season your CiC Press (recommended before first use):

Stovetop: With a rag or paper towel, oil your CiC press with the Cast Iron Chris Seasoning & Maintenance Compound. Don’t worry about oiling the top of the handle. With a clean rag, wipe off the excess oil. Heat your CiC Press over medium heat for 1 minute before increasing heat to high. Let the press sit over high heat for 5-10 minutes or until the patina changes color/darkens. Your CiC Press may lightly smoke which is normal. Repeat this process as needed.

Oven: With a rag or paper towel, oil your CiC press with the Cast Iron Chris Seasoning & Maintenance Compound. Don’t worry about oiling the top of the handle. With a clean rag, wipe off the excess oil. Place in 450* oven for 1 hour. Repeat this process as needed.

Cleaning: After cooling, clean with soap and water. Towel dry then place on your stovetop over medium heat for 5 minutes to evaporate any excess moisture. Lightly oil before storing.
